San Diego Yarn Crawl Tote Bag

The 2013 San Diego Yarn Crawl Tote Bag!!
Thank you to Dave at Moonlight Printing for doing such a great job printing our first bags.

Attention all knitting, yarn, fiber, weaving and textile art enthusiasts!  Join us for the second annual San Diego Yarn Crawl, September 15-18, 2016! This free, self-paced, self-guided tour of 8 San Diego yarn stores, 3 alpaca farms, and 1 mobile Yarn truck will take crawlers from San Marcos to Chula Vista, Ramona to Encinitas and many points in-between! The adventure runs Thursday through Sunday. The SDYC web site provides a free passport and a google map for you to print out. Special edition cloth tote bags are available at any of the participating venues for a nominal fee during the SDYC.

Prepare for a very unique experience: get back to the “country” environment and experience two actual San Diego county alpaca ranches. Since you will be visiting the “country” environment, be sure to wear comfortable shoes. This is the first west coast yarn crawl to invite local alpaca farms to participate and on this tour you can actually see what it takes to make yarn. During your tour you can shop at the 12 locations for a variety of yarns, needles & accessories. Each location will have it’s own special events, designers, etc. Crawlers will print out their own yarn crawl passport from the SDYC website, and have it stamped at every store or farm they visit! All passports bearing 3 venue stamps turned in at any of the 12 locations will be entered to win gift baskets filled with all kinds of yarn and fiber goodies.  In addition, those with passports stamped by all 12 locations will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from each location!  That’s $600 worth of gift certificates going to the grand prize winner!
